Our client, a well-established manufacturer of custom power conversion and magnetic components for the transportation, medical, and military industries, is looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to join their team. Founded in 1978, the company has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality products with exceptional service — a success driven by their dedicated and knowledgeable team.
About the Role
As a Sales Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the key liaison between the company and its valued customers. You'll handle post-sales support, order management, and communication across departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. This is a fully onsite role requiring a professional, proactive, and service-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement
- Act as the main point of contact for all customer after-sales inquiries (orders, shipping, billing, credits).
- Provide timely updates on order status and shipment tracking.
- Log all interactions in the Odoo CRM system.
- Prepare and send invoices and open order reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues promptly.
- Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
Production & Shipping Coordination
- Work with the Production Manager to monitor order readiness and production schedules.
- Communicate any shipping delays and arrange alternatives.
- Support credit note creation when required by QA.
What You Bring
- A "customer-first" mindset with a positive, collaborative approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Experience using ERP/CRM systems (Odoo experience is an asset).
Preferred Qualifications
- College diploma or university degree in Business or related field.
- 2+ years of B2B customer service experience (manufacturing/electronics preferred).
- Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.
- Technical aptitude to understand basic product functionality.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $50,000 – $57,000 per year + annual profit-based bonus
