Apex Distribution Inc. is seeking a Shipper and Receiver/Inventory Control person based out of the Grande Prairie, AB Valve Services branch. We are a dynamic oilfield supply and service company nationally recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies. We are committed to providing superior customer service to the oilfield markets of Western Canada.

Duties will include

  • Prepare and ship orders, process information using internal system
  • Perform quality audits of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Distribute incoming shipments to appropriate department
  • Assist with inventory management
  • Operate forklift
  • Pick up and deliver product in town and to customer sites
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Working in a fast-paced environment with a large team

Qualifications

  • Valid class 5 driver's license and driver's abstract
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35lbs
  • Able to safely use hand tools and table saw
  • Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Systems, Applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
