Shipper/receiver

Medallion Energy Services Inc. is an oilfield electrical and instrumentation company. As well Medallion provides meter proving services, parts sales and rentals.

**Overview of Job Responsibilities**:
Under the direction of the purchasing/material manager, the shipper/receiver is responsible for shop & yard cleanliness, shipping & receiving, inventory counts, inventory management, rentals, deliveries & pickups, as well as hot shots. Shop & equipment inspections/maintenance are also the warehouse assistants responsibility.

**Detailed Job Responsibilities**:
Ø Picks and packages products for shipment.

Ø Handle incoming, outgoing and internal deliveries

Ø Handle inventory/stock, conduct stock counts, ensuring inventory control within the warehouse.

Ø Coordinates carrier pick-ups, prepares packing slips, bills of lading and shipping labels.

Ø Maintains forklift and other material handling devices.

Ø Receives materials into web work.

Ø Documents, wraps and labels packages containing dangerous goods accordance with TDG regulations.

Ø verifying location; directing movement to staging area. Upgrade and manage the warehouse processes to optimize movement and storage of materials

Ø Prepares and maintains all shipping documents.

Ø Process all received shipments to ensure that materials meet specifications and are in good condition.

Ø Comparing the materials received to waybills, packing slips and purchase orders.

Ø Providing the manager with all information on items short shipped, over shipped, broken or damaged.

Ø Maintains files of receiving documents, material return slips and any WHMIS documents. related to products or materials processed through the receiving area.

Ø Maintains working area in a safe, organized manner.

Ø Maintains shop yard.

Ø Pre inspection daily on the forklift (tires, fluid level, back up siren etc.).

Ø Monthly Inspections on shop and shop equipment (cleanliness, equipment conditions).

Ø Pick up/ Deliver Parts in town, as well as possible hotshots to site.

Ø Maintain clean work area and yard organization

Ø Populate and receive purchase orders

Ø Complies with Medallion’s health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Ø Any other duties as required.

**Qualifications**

Ø Forklift certification required.

Ø Skidsteer certification required

Ø Previous shipping/receiving and/or warehouse experience considered an asset

Ø Basic computer skills are required, knowledge of Microsoft Office

Ø Ability to work independently, as well as in team environment

Ø Strong work ethic with organization, time management and multi-tasking skills

Ø WHMIS & TDG (will be provided)

Ø Valid Driver’s Licence & Clean Driver’s Abstract.

Ø Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Ø Ability to start and complete multiple tasks.

Ø Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Ø Detail oriented.

Ø Good communication skills.

Ø Capable of the required physical demands (able to lift 50 lbs)

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
