Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Bookkeeper/Clerk to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth office operations, managing financial records, and supporting administrative functions across various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, with experience in office administration and bookkeeping. Duties

  • Perform bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks, including invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Manage calendar scheduling and appointment setting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
  • Provide excellent phone etiquette and customer service at all times.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as organizing, filing, sorting, tracking, and data entry.

Skills

  • Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or administrative roles
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
  • Previous experience using the accounting software, QuickBooks is required.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients, and team members
  • Budgeting expertise to assist in financial planning and expense control is an asset
  • Proficiency in filing systems—physical and electronic—and calendar management tools
  • Ability to handle front desk responsibilities with professionalism and courtesy
  • Strong training & development skills to support staff growth
  • Excellent phone etiquette for professional communication

This position requires a proactive individual capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational abilities combined with effective communication skills to foster a productive workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
