We are: a boutique law firm focused on providing white-glove service to real estate and estate clients with an emphasis on collegiality and technology. You are: a recent graduate of a college accounting program with some office experience. Legal accounting is an asset. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing accounting support for the firm which will include: reconciliation support in-person banking (deposits, certifying cheques, problem-solving) Law Society compliance documentation preparing wires running reports general accounting clerk duties such as: data entry, invoicing, reporting, accounts payable and receivables facilities support: coordinating with property manager; supervising maintenance as required, light reception duties Qualifications a college diploma in accounting or legal accounting or relevant experience proficient in English (written and spoken) previous office experience proficient in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software suites strong knowledge of accounting software and bookkeeping principles This is an in-person position at Liberty Village. There is no opportunity for remote work in this position. 6-month contract to start with a view to making the position permanent. This is a junior role with a starting salary of $41,000-$45,000 with medical/dental benefits and RRSP matching after the contract period.
