Overview:

Unified Automation is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of advanced automation solutions for commercial and residential clients. This role involves managing multiple projects that deliver sophisticated automation solutions, that deliver a first-class customer experience. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project completion on time and within budget. Knowledge of tools and software such as Control4 , Intercom systems, AV design and implementation, Structure cable solutions would be imperative.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a positive customer experience by ensuring seamless project execution for the integration of low-voltage automation solutions and systems.
  • Lead project planning sessions to define the scope, objectives, and deliverables for commercial or residential automation systems, including smart lighting, security, and audiovisual setups.
  • Oversee project requirements specific to low-voltage installations and system configurations, ensuring compliance with both industry standards and client specifications.
  • Implement agile methodologies to manage dynamic changes in system requirements, ensuring flexibility throughout the installation and integration of Control4 and other automation technologies.
  • Oversee data collection related to energy consumption, system performance, and operational efficiency to provide accurate reporting and analysis for smart building solutions.
  • Communicate project progress and system integration updates clearly to clients, technicians, and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned throughout the automation project.
  • Supervise technicians and installers specializing in low-voltage wiring, structured cabling, Control4 programming, and system integration, fostering a collaborative environment to deliver high-quality automation solutions.
  • Utilize project management tools to track the installation and configuration of low-voltage systems, ensuring deadlines are met and projects are delivered within scope.
  • Ensure that all low-voltage installations and automation systems adhere to rigorous quality management practices, maintaining the highest standards from initial system design to the end.
  • Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders and technical teams to evaluate the progress of low-voltage system integrations, addressing challenges, and celebrating milestones.

Skills:

  • Strong ability to collect and analyze data from automated systems, providing insights on energy savings, system performance, and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of low voltage automation system integration.
  • Experience using agile methodologies to manage the design, implementation, and deployment of automation systems in commercial and residential environments.
  • Competence in using industry-specific project management tools, for task organization, system programming, and project tracking.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage teams of technicians working on low-voltage wiring, system setups, and other automation technologies, fostering collaboration and ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Expertise in maintaining and enforcing quality standards for all low-voltage and smart automation installations.
  • Experience supervising teams on-site and ensuring clients receive high-quality, energy-efficient automation solutions while promoting a positive, solution-driven work culture.
