Remedy Engineering is hiring a Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to guide building systems projects, mentor a growing team, and bring clarity to complex work. This is a full-time, in-office role in Edmonton.
Responsibilities:
Project + Technical Leadership
• Deliver mechanical projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
• Provide technical direction and troubleshoot issues.
• Identify risks early and guide teams through challenges.
People Leadership
• Mentor junior and intermediate team members.
• Model steady, values-based leadership.
• Support staffing and help resolve team dynamics.
Operational Support
• Review timesheets and support internal processes.
• Contribute to improving standards, templates, and QA.
Client + Industry Engagement
• Represent Remedy with clients and industry partners.
• Support proposals, scopes, and relationship-building.
Qualifications to Show on Your Resume
Technical
• 12+ years in mechanical engineering or building systems.
• Experience leading complex mechanical projects.
• Project list showing scope, budget, and schedule management.
Leadership
• Evidence of mentoring or leading others.
• Coordinating technical delivery or team work.
Firm + Industry Contribution
• Process or standards improvements.
• Involvement in APEGA, ASET, ASHRAE, CIBSE, etc.
• Participation in proposals or fee estimates.
