Senior Project Manager / Project Manager IV

Edmonton, Alberta.

Join a leading energy organization as a Project Manager IV, overseeing the facilities scope of a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. This is a high-impact role requiring strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in managing large-scale gas facility programs. Hybrid work model based in Edmonton or Calgary.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities scope from design through completion
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead and mentor engineering and support staff
  • Build strong relationships with senior management and partners
  • Drive project success through strategic leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of project management experience
  • Proven track record with large-scale gas facility projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including Indigenous communities
  • Experience in safety leadership and regulatory compliance
  • PMP certification and P.Eng. designation preferred
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change
