Contract TV Repair Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced TV Repair Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in diagnosing and repairing a variety of television types, including LED, LCD, OLED, and Smart TVs.
This position offers flexibility and independence while allowing you to work with a professional support team that coordinates service requests and provides ongoing customer engagement.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults in televisions across multiple brands and models
- Replace or repair defective components such as power supplies, circuit boards, and display panels
- Perform software updates, factory resets, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job completion reports
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and support staff
- Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and company quality guidelines
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in television or electronics repair (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and diagnostic tools
- Ability to interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
- Must provide your own tools and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and represent the company professionally in the field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent technical certification)
- Familiarity with smart TV operating systems (Android TV, Tizen, webOS, Roku, etc.)
- Previous experience working as a contractor or field technician
