Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant, with experience in the construction field, to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into financial performance.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
  • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and other tools for bookkeeping and financial reporting.
  • Perform Job Costing
  • Manage inventory
  • Provide account analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support corporate finance initiatives and improve financial processes.

Requirements

  • CPA designation
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial services with a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Knowledge of corporate finance concepts including budgeting, auditing, and account analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
