What You'll Do Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of Gandys plumbing team of five technicians and one administrator, setting the standard for quality, performance, and accountability. Establish and maintain clear, consistent pricing structures for plumbing services, with a strong eye for accuracy and sustainability. Provide expert guidance on complex plumbing projects, troubleshooting challenges, and technical decision-making to ensure jobs are done right the first time. Build, refine, and continuously improve workflows, processes, and best practices that support efficiency, consistency, and long-term growth. Collaborate closely with operations, leadership, and field teams to deliver reliable, high-quality service and an exceptional customer experience. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Leading the department in full alignment with Gandys core values, ethics, and standards — consistent with how all other departments operate. What You Bring Hands-On Plumbing Expertise: At least 5 years of practical, hands-on experience in residential and/or light commercial plumbing and Red Seal Certification would be an asset. Leadership Potential: Proven plumbing leadership experience or eagerness to step into a leadership role – even if you haven't formally led a team before. Tech-Savvy Attitude: Comfortable using Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn new technologies, software, and systems to drive efficiency, service, and operations. People-Centric Mindset: Committed to putting your team first, leading with empathy, and supporting technicians in the field while building a positive, values-driven department culture. Forward-Thinking & Adaptability: Able to think strategically, embrace change, and grow alongside a company that values passion, pride, and integrity.
