The Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing project workflows, developing and enforcing general business processes, managing resources, and ensuring the successful completion of each project from inception to final installation. Their duties include hiring and training employees and managing quality assurance programs. An operations manager also strategizes process improvements to ensure everyone completes their tasks on schedule. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of kitchen design and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of office and shop operations, including production planning, workflow, and resource allocation to allow the organization to operate with maximum potential.
- Lead and manage a team of skilled leaders in production, engineering, project management, administration.
- Providing direction, training, and performance feedback for all direct report staff.
- Monitor project schedules, task lists, budgets, and resources, ensuring adherence to timelines and financial targets.
- Evaluate overall multi-department performance, identify risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent delays and quality issues.
- Ensure custom produced products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost efficiency. Develop and implement streamlined processes in all areas from scheduling to design to production and installation
- Monitor, maintain and optimize plant infrastructure, production machinery, equipment, tools, systems and other resources to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure correct adherence to workplace policies and safety protocols.
- Oversee various levels of design/engineering/admin staff to ensure reliable and accurate generation of all required digital outputs.
- Oversee Project managers and installation/site related personnel to ensure installation schedules proceed smoothly during the entire span of the project to completion.

To qualify for this position you must have:

- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing operation.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment.
- Proficient in production software and scheduling tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Experience in cabinet manufacturing operation - ideally multi-family.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

The position is full time, day shift only, Monday to Friday, and offers competitive wages, good benefits and an opportunity to grow in a supportive work environment.

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
