**Job description**:
We are looking for motivated, self-starting, talented Junior Construction Project Coordinator and Administrative Assistant that will help the senior project managers with the back-office support. Applicants should have a dedication to learning, be able to manage time between different tasks and different projects as needed, be able to manage fast-paced work environments, manage large workloads, and be able to work well in a team or individually.

**Primary responsibilities**:
1) Procure Estimates from Various Trades

2) Complete estimates regarding the project and related costs.

3) Create a database for costs related to construction which is to be used for estimates

4) Create a scope of work from estimates, drawings, or what we require for quotes

5) Obtain quotations from suppliers when required

6) Complete budget sheet once the project is awarded

7) Draft Contracts between Client and Company

8) Draft Contracts between Company and Contractor

9) Complete quote comparison sheet and other various comparison items throughout the project

10) Follow up with trades and suppliers (obtain updates from them about (schedule, item of work, date of completion/delivery etc.)

11) Update project management software’s regularly (construction work items, drawings, site visit reports, meeting minutes etc.)

12) Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings

13) Preparing necessary presentation material for meetings

15) Complete purchase orders, invoices change orders and obtain signatures and file the documentation digitally

16) Assist with any accounts reconciliation pertaining to projects as needed.

17) Assistance with any marketing initiatives for the company as required.

18) Should have access to a vehicle because at times they might be required to visit construction sites

**Required Qualifications**:

- Degree/Diploma is required
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles
- Ability to read and interpret conceptually, schematic, and permit drawings.
- Work experience of 1-2 years is preferred
- Should have knowledge in using MS Office
- G2 or G level Driver’s License or Equivalent required

**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M1B 3C6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Project management: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
