Job Title : Junior Project Manager

Location: On sites, Office

Job Description: We are looking for a Junior Project Manager to join our team. Junior Project Manager will responsible for administering, organizing projects, from simple project co-ordination activities to supporting the development of complex project plans.

The Junior Project Manager will work closely with the Senior Project Manager to prepare comprehensive action plans, including coordinating work on site. The Junior Project Manager will perform various tasks, including schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, maintaining project documentation, project tracking, forecasting, and managing current projects.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients and internal team to deliver timely project results
- Administration of request for information, site instructions, change orders, shop drawings, submittals, etc.
- Filling out daily logs and checklists
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites as needed, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.
- Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractor coordination.
- Attend to every inspection on sites
- Coordinate and manage trades on and off sites
- Oversee trades and tasks that trades are doing on sites
- Visit job sites daily
- Conduct or participate in daily safety audits through online platform.
- Train trades in safety, work skills and efficiency
- Provide ongoing feedback to Senior Project Manager regarding job performance through online platform
- Upload Daily Logs and Complete Daily To-Dos on online platform.
- Create schedule and weekly checklists on online platform
- Resolve complains assist with discipline when necessary
- Discuss opportunities for professional development

Job Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in a relevant field of study (e.g. Construction)
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction projects
- Theoretical and practical project management and project administration knowledge
- Experience in document controls and administration of documentation
- Experience working as a project coordinator
- Proficiency in project management software tools such as Builder Trend
- Critical thinking, independent problem solving
- Think outside the box
- High work ethic
- Excellent keyboarding, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with respect to proofreading, note-taking, and data monitoring and recording, with a limited margin of error.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, organization, planning and multi-tasking skills.
- An excellent team player committed to contributing to a positive working environment.
- Ability to work within a team independently and collaboratively, as required, and with limited supervision.
- Solid technical background, with understanding and hands-on experience, in construction projects
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Understands technical language in engineering construction projects

Must Qualifications:

- Car ownership with a valid G license
- Hands-on construction experience

Compensation: Based on experience

**Salary**: From $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 5 years (preferred)

- English (preferred)
