**JUNIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR**

Andrews.engineer (A.E) is a consulting civil engineering company exclusively focused on municipal asset management. We are, first and foremost, sewer engineering experts. Founded in 1993, A.E has extensive experience and involvement in all stages of sewer asset management including collection and storage of sewer inventory data, the execution of sewer and manhole condition assessment programs, and the planning, design and construction administration of sewer rehabilitation works.

A.E is a growing, employee-owned firm with a team of over 40 professional engineers, technical staff, site inspectors and administration support.

As a Junior Project Coordinator on our team, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of construction contracts according to specifications and standards. You will work with our project managers and contract administrators to coordinate project activities within contract scope. Working both in the office and occasionally in the field, you will become a valued member of our team.
- Serve as a point of contact in representing project owners and liaising with all project stakeholders (e.g., contractors, designers, inspectors, private/public agencies, including the general public) throughout design and construction projects;
- Perform needed site visits and field data collection to obtain key site details for the planned construction work;
- Review sewer and maintenance hole inspection data to confirm rehabilitation objectives and feasibility;
- Coordinate with utility companies and third-parties regarding planned rehabilitation work;
- Support kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings including preparation of agendas and minutes;
- Assist with preparation of bill of quantities and cost estimates for construction tenders;
- Other as-needed technical review, reporting, and project coordination duties;
- Clean-up and modify database structures for client submittals. Tasks include compiling data from field crews and contractors, updating project databases, assisting in condition assessment, and testing/validating the in-house database using current data (knowledge of VBA or SQL is considered an asset)
- Support engineers in sewer rehabilitation design projects, including technical writing

Active projects include processing and management of a local and trunk sewer program in the City of Toronto, trunk sewer rehabilitation in the City of Toronto, manhole inspection and rehabilitation in the Region of Peel.

**Preferred Education and Experience**
- Entry level role for a New Graduate from an accredited College or University in the field of Civil, Environmental Engineering or Technologist, Construction Management or a combination of Engineering and Business administration education.

**Benefits & Compensation**
- 37.5 hour work week
- Renumeration starting at approximately $55,000 annually, or $28.00 per hour, negotiable based on skills and experience
- Overtime pay after 44 hours
- 2 weeks vacation
