_**Join us as a Junior Data Analyst**_

At NorLand Limited, we’re seeking a **Junior Data Analyst** to play a key role in supporting the equipment team by improving and cleaning up our data collection methods, compiling equipment data, and assisting with reporting. The role will require everything from installing telematics and collecting meter readings on heavy equipment in the field, to entering data to our equipment management software tools, and refining existing data to provide better analytics. This role is temporary with the possibility to grow into a permanent position.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the collection and organization of equipment data from various sources (visual inspection, manual logs, digital tracking systems, etc.).
- Help with the creation of reports and dashboards to track equipment resources
- Support the department in managing data for fleet management systems.
- Provide ad-hoc data analysis as requested
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular checks and audits.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline data collection and reporting processes.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in engineering or engineering technology, construction management, or business.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Interest in construction and/or heavy equipment is a plus.
- Ability to climb and visually inspect heavy equipment.
- Clean Driver’s Abstract and Class 5 license.
