**Job description**

Opportunity:

- Full time - Friday, Satruday, and Sunday 1900h - 0700h (36 hours)
- Part time - Saturday and Sunday, 0700h - 1900h (24 hours)
- Start and end times may be adjusted however hours remain the same

**Duties**:
The scheduler will work out of Head Office located in Markham. The following duties apply:

- Respond to all missed check in alerts and arrange shift coverage in case of no show or sick calls of scheduled employees
- Respond to ad hoc (sudden, short term) requests and dispatch guards in an expediated manner
- Schedule all special and extra coverage shifts efficiently
- Call clients about security schedule changes, where required
- Continually review all open shifts and verify guard suitability/training
- Update and maintain QuickBooks Time as changes in employees’ scheduled shifts, training, suitability, placement, and rotation take place
- Inform and continuously update clients about guard ETA to the site when running late
- Respond to and/or escalate service inquiries from clients and guards to Operations Managers
- Complete daily shift reports and send to Operations Managers
- All other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

Job Requirements:

- Fully able to commit to schedule long term
- Exceptional computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great interpersonal and customer service skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- 1 year experience in security and customer service

Preferred Qualifications:

- Ontario Security Guard License
- Standard First Aid CPR-C
- Must be professional and presentable
- a multi-tasker
- able to take direction
- punctual
- an excellent communicator, customer service oriented, and has excellent report writing skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Part-time
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 24-36 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$19.50 per hour
