**Position**: Administrative Assistant
**Location**: Ummah Society, Halifax
**Responsibilities**:
- Organize and maintain files, records, and databases with attention to confidentiality.
- Manage office supplies, coordinate repairs and maintenance, and liaise with vendors.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate events as needed.
- Prepare, review, and distribute documents, reports, and presentations.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of special projects as assigned by management.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Business Administrative or Office Administrative diploma preferred).
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and office management software.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
