**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support veterinarians in providing high-quality care to animals, ensuring their health and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in a fast-paced veterinary environment, including patient care, laboratory work, and client communication.

**Duties**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures by restraining animals and preparing necessary equipment.
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis, to assist in diagnosing animal health issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilizing instruments and cleaning examination rooms.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals in the clinic, reporting any changes to the veterinarian.
- Provide compassionate care to animals during their stay at the clinic, ensuring they are comfortable and stress-free.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including nutrition, grooming, and preventive health measures.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.

**Skills**
- Strong interest in animal health and welfare.
- Experience or knowledge in laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine love for animals.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and procedures relevant to veterinary care.
- Wage varies on experience.
