Our home is in Edmonton, Alberta, but we have traveled throughout our province and beyond to share our services. Our clients are just as multifaceted. It is not uncommon to find any one of our partners offering a fine dining sunset dinner with a romantic view and another partner serving poutine from a food truck. Events at Enjoy, a division of Passionate Hospitality Group, has extensive experience in coordinating and executing special events from fundraisers and gala dinners to conferences and corporate events such as receptions, client appreciation and awards ceremonies. Showcased in a very unique and incomparable setting, Events at Enjoy has established itself as one of the premier event venues in Alberta. - **Role & Responsibilities**_

The role we are looking to fill will, without a doubt, continue to grow and evolve as the company does, but here is an idea of what you’ll be doing:
Event Management & Client Related
- Plan, coordinate, execute events
- Assist with management of all events using Event Temple, all-seated, Google Docs.
- Preparing, monitoring and completing comprehensive event budgets
- Coordinate with PHG teams on event booking, ordering, menu creation and customization
- Providing regular project updates to clients
- Sourcing vendor quotes
- Site visits as needed
- Client meetings as needed
- Management of Event Temple, establishing work flows
- Developing and updating project budgets
- A variety of event preparation tasks
- Management of events team including hiring, scheduling and performance feedback
- Day-of event management
- Support with all events, booking equipment & rentals, set up and tear down

Communications & Creative
- Assisting with asset creation in Canva
- Assisting with social media content creation & mailouts
- Providing creative client solutions
- Vendor communication
- Event promotion (getting events on a variety of websites for maximum exposure, bridal shows, advertising opportunities)
- Assisting with marketing and sourcing PR opportunities for client events

Admin
- Organizing and ongoing maintenance of our Google Drive system, file system
- Onboarding new clients, including Event Temple contracts and Google Drive folder setup
- Invoicing
- Cash outs/Tips outs
- Collecting client testimonials
- Coordinating client appreciation cards
- Vendor and supplier vetting and acquisition, coordination, and management
- **Skills & Experience**_

While we are absolutely open to training and mentoring, some of the skill sets that would be an asset include:

- Experience with event management and/or coordination
- Caring communication skills
- Experience with digital event management, social media, and scheduling tools
- Proficiency in Google programs for document/spreadsheet/presentation

- Proven track record of being able to work both independently and on a team
- A preoccupation with customer/client service excellence
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) skills
- A high tolerance for a dynamic and ever-changing
