Events Coordinator

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Events Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of planning and executing on site events. This role will also be responsible for the administrative tasks of Salisbury’s in house workshops and assisting when needed in with Marketing tasks.
**This position is required to go between our St Albert and Sherwood Park Locations.**
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Independently coordinate marketing and community events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
- Plan and execute any company events
- Coordinate workshop schedule for both locations. Planning workshop schedule 6 months to 1 year in advance. Provide list of workshop items to Buyer Admin
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee all administrative tasks related to the workshops.
- Working with store manager on scheduling for the workshops
- Other duties as required
**Skills and Qualifications**
**Background**
- Post-secondary education in Marketing
- 1 years in a similar event planning role
- Experience in retail and construction markets considered an asset
**Experience**
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Experienced in planning of events from start to finish
- Self-motivated and able to collaborate with other departments and divisions
- Knowledge of performance monitoring methods for events and ability to create reports to guide future event coordination improvements

- Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
