Our robust Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility program continues to grow, and has been recognized by the United Nations and many other organizations for our leadership. **ABOUT THE ROLE** This position is responsible for providing technology support, including supporting the Region’s online procurement systems, ongoing processes and system maintenance, system user and supplier support, digital procurement education and training, data quality maintenance, extraction, and analysis, as well as supporting project delivery activities related to system configurations, upgrades, and new digital procurement processes and system implementations. **WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING** - Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Region's online procurement systems, including system analysis, functional troubleshooting, identifying system issues, existing business challenges and providing end-user support. - Leads and coordinates system solutions configurations, upgrades, patches, installations, integration initiatives and system changes, based on best business practices and requirements, with collaboration with stakeholders. - Resolves business process problems in collaboration with team members and online system providers. - Troubleshoots to resolve system issues from Procurement Office Team and Departmental end-users. - Develops project approaches and leads projects to evaluate technology and data to ensure quality and consistency in results, outputs, and release of new system modules. - Monitors and assesses security and optimal system performance through generation and analysis of various system reports and resolves issues with the systems Supplier support teams. - Provides consultative support to procurement staff for online procurement systems, including but not limited to building of electronic bids, tables, data uploads and downloads. - Regularly reviews, edits, updates, and validates, with all relevant stakeholders, the effectiveness of standard operating procedures for end-user support. - Conducts quality assurance testing and guides business users thru User Acceptance Testing. - Reviews and analyzes levels of service and key performance metrics to support business functions and objectives. **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR** - Successful completion of a Community College Diploma in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience. - Demonstrated capacity to support procurement systems or similar systems, including leading business requirements gathering and system optimization effo
