We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of **Oracle Database Administrator ** to join our dynamic team to work at our client.

Contract Duration**:12 months** with possibility of extension

Hybrid: three **(3) days onsite and two (2) days remote (offsite)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Administer the database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, Microsoft Access) including database optimization, capacity planning, installation and migration, database design, performance tuning, backup, and recovery.
- Develop, support, and maintain system data extracts, and reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access.
- Support and maintain over 80 system interfaces and scheduled jobs.
- Advice and support to long term care /homes for special care rate reduction renewals (semi-annual or as required processes for long term care and special care) and annual changes from CRA for information related to income tax returns.

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**:
At least 5 years of experience with:

- Oracle RDBMS 11-12 in a Windows environment and SQL Server RDBMS 2008-2019
- Database installation, upgrade, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery. Expertise required with standard database development tools and utilities: TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, TFS
- SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**:

- 5+ years’ experience and expert knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 11-12 in a Windows environment and SQL Server RDBMS 2008-2019
- 5+ years’ experience in database installation, upgrade, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery. Expertise required with standard database development tools and utilities: TOAD, SQL Server Management Studio, TFS
- 5+ years’ experience in using SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services
- Extensive hands-on experience and expert knowledge with designing and developing data warehouses and data marts.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and later, Windows 10 and later
- Extensive knowledge of data and information architecture
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to provide technical solutions for business requirements; provide technical solutions to infrastructure related issues
- Knowledge of IT Service Management best practices (Change, Configuration, Problem and Incident Management).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $70.00-$90.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
