Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator with 6–10 years of expertise in Oracle technologies to manage and maintain Oracle databases and the Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA). The role involves configuring and troubleshooting ZDLRA, implementing protection policies, performing disaster recovery operations, and ensuring optimal database performance. Success in this position is measured by secure, reliable, and high-performing database environments and timely recovery from failures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA).
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot the ZDLRA appliance.
  • Set up protection policies and schedules for databases.
  • Manage protected databases and implement protection policies.
  • Perform disaster recovery operations.
  • Automate processes, monitor performance, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Generate reports on backup status, recovery performance, and other relevant metrics.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Oracle Linux, Linux agents, and third-party software installation/reconfiguration.
  • Work with Oracle Database, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery, and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
  • Strong expertise with Oracle Zero Data Loss Recovery Appliance (ZDLRA).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Linux, Linux agents, and third-party software installation/reconfiguration.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, Exadata, Oracle RAC, Oracle ASM, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery.
  • Strong automation, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting skills.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $60.00 per hour
