- Assist in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are visually appealing.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and preparation.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
