Sugo Mercato is currently looking for full-time line cooks to join our amazing team We’re looking for individuals who are interested in working with quality ingredients while working to continuously perfect their craft.

We are offering $17-$21/hour based on experience and reference checks. Health Benefits are available to you, if requested, after probationary period.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
- Cleaning your station
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience.
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line cook, restaurant cook or prep cook
- An understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices

Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Culinary: 1 year (preferred)
- cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
