**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced MOA to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. The **Medical Office Assistant (MOA)** plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a healthcare office. As the first point of contact for patients, the MOA provides administrative and clerical support to physicians and healthcare staff while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.

**Duties**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and register patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Manage patient records and maintain confidentiality (EMR/EHR data entry and updates)
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
- Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers as needed
- Handle billing, payments, and insurance documentation
- Process referrals, requisitions, and prescription renewals
- Maintain inventory of medical and office supplies
- Support the team in ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experience

**Experience**
- Completion of a recognized Medical Office Assistant program (required).
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy legislation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

Work Location: In person
