Job description

The Event Operations Coordinator ensures that guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. Monitors setup, maintenance, cleanliness and safety of dining areas. This individual must be able to complete opening and closing duties/checklists in a timely fashion.
- Vendor management during load in and set up
- Oversee the onsite set up team
- Agenda Management, coordinate with the client and kitchen timing of service
- Oversee service and ensure allergies are monitored
- Oversee the activities of the servers and other dining room personnel
- Maintain a good working environment
- Adjust staffing according to the current days customer volume, event timing etc.
- Supervise the organization of staff to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure the quality of the food meets all standards
- Maintain knowledge of stock on hand, informing managers when product is low
- Execute Dining Room End of Day
- Emergency Management
- Present and ensure a neat, polished appearance by following established grooming and uniform standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in supervisory position in the food & beverage industry
- Smart Serve Certified
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, evenings) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Beer, Spirits, Wine and Wine Service
- Effective communication skills: speaking, listening and responding
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact with customers with a positive attitude
- Good Physical Strength - Ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods of time, lift up 30 - 50 lbs
- Ability to follow and take direction from Supervisors/Managers

This person will act as the shift lead if a Manager is not onsite, they will ensure guest and client satisfaction.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
