Recreation Coordinator

**ABOUT THE RESIDENCES ON YONGE**

We’re putting a new face on the look of Retirement living in Aurora. Designed and built by Traditions Seniors Housing and operated by Gray Wave Advisory. Residences on Yonge will offer an unmatched service level for Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care for 105 Residents, large enough to be efficient and small enough to provide a caring difference.

**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Organize, develop and run Activities (Minimum 3per day)
- Runs activities based on the 5 Domains. Physical, emotional, cognitive, spiritual, & intellectual
- Evaluates resident's interest and involvement in Life Skill
- Develops Life Skills tailored to each resident's unique needs and abilities
- One to One visits with Residents
- Supervise recreation students & volunteers
- Help with plan monthly calendars
- Fill in resident profiles
- Organize, Plan, special Events and outings with Manager
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
- Team player with the ability to work independently and with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and follow through with emphasis on detail while maintaining positive public relations.
- Ability to effectively and efficiently execute responsibilities in a caring and supportive manner.

This position is part-time, working weekends. Times may vary as the needs of the residents/ programs change.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 14 per week

Schedule:

- Every Weekend
