Book Keeping and Office Administrator

We are a leading manufacturer of specialized loading equipment for the transportation industry and are looking for an Office Administrator to help manage general office tasks and sales related documentation. This is a great opportunity for new professionals looking to grow with a company that is quickly expanding in the steel and supply chain industry. This job is for a fixed 5 month contract with the potential to transfer into a full time position.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities of an Office Administrator**
- General Paperwork and filing upkeep
- Preparing quotations and transportation documentation
- General Bookkeeping
- knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software
- Help in coordination of sales activities and processing
- Upkeeping sales logs and production times
- Customer contact for coordinating deliveries
- Facilitating inquiries with our freight brokers and vendors
- Carrying out administrative duties such as: reports, correspondence, photocopying, scanning, filing, etc.
- Assist with keeping the office organized and operational
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
- General accounting and Book Keeping Knowledge required
- Must be able to use the QuickBooks accounting software
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Word
- Analytically Minded
- Written and verbal communications skills are key to this role
- Basic understanding of business practices
- A Desire to grow with a company overtime
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills are an asset
- An ability to learn different tools/technologies and product knowledge
**Experience**:
- Book Keeping and QuickBooks experience required
- Administrative/Office experience is an asset.
