**About Us**:
Fortress Properties Inc. is a full-service leasing and property management company with over 40 years of experience leasing nearly 2 million square feet of retail, office, and industrial real estate across Saskatchewan and Alberta. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to support our accounting team.

**Job Summary**:
The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and vendor payments. This position requires a high level of organization, accuracy, and the ability to manage a range of tasks and deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Process a high volume of vendor invoices related to multiple properties
- Match invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and work orders
- Ensure proper GL coding and property allocation for each transaction
- Prepare check runs in accordance with payment schedules
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain and update vendor information in the accounting system
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, property managers, and internal staff regarding payment status
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable sales tax regulations

**Qualifications**:
**Required**:

- Accounting or administrative diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in property management or real estate
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable learning and adapting to new technologies and software systems

**Preferred**:

- Experience with property management accounting software Yardi Voyager
- Familiarity with multi-entity accounting or working with multiple properties
