Currently we are hiring for a:
**Accounts Payable Clerk**

This role is responsible for ensuring the payment of indirect expenditures and supporting the entire Canadian team with this function. This role is responsible for ensuring policies are followed, invoices are coded properly, following up on any payment questions from vendors, and acting on behalf of all employees with payments made through Ariba.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- Payment of indirect expenditures
- Ariba - Create PO's / Reconcile Invoices / Resolve issues / Set-up new vendors
- Concur - Pay / Record / Code / Submit Monthly Pcard spending for Office and Marketing
- Invoices from “V” type vendors - Receive Invoice / Code / Obtain Approval / Submit / Review Statements
- Cheque Requests - create cheque requests to issue customer payments
- Process invoices in Medius and clear freight invoice exceptions
- Accounts Receivable: Receive Cheque's / Code / Track / Send to lockbox
- Accounting: Assist with Creating Reports at Month End
- Update vendor banking information, address, name changes, etc.
- Support procurement team with freight reporting and OTM carrier set ups / updates.

**Required Qualifications**:

- 2-3 years’ experience in accounts payable or accounting, customer service, marketing or business operations.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with Winfield Canada business systems (preferred)
- Strong user of the Microsoft suite of products

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Strong knowledge of Winfield United Canada and Ag industry
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to a wide-range of internal and external customers
- Must be able to work with and communicate across all levels of the organization in a positive and productive manner
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills with excellent communication and organizational strengths
- Great retention of knowledge and be a resource for explaining processes to others
