Tony Deodato & Sons is Kingston’s premier provider of wholesale produce, servicing restaurants, retailers, and institutions in southeastern Ontario since 1923. We are expanding our team, seeking a full-time customer service representative who will play an integral role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with our customers.
- is personable with excellent verbal and written communication skills, delivering exceptional customer service while interfacing with clients over various mediums;
- excels at working in a team-oriented environment in an open concept workspace while also being able to work independently when required;
- is detail oriented, producing accurate output when performing data entry in a demanding and fast paced office environment;
- is tech savvy and must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and adapt to unique industry software packages.

Duties include:

- liaising with customers, developing and maintaining positive relationships;
- providing customers with information regarding products and pricing;
- managing customer inquiries and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner, arriving at mutually agreeable solutions;
- compiling, reviewing and organizing required paperwork for outgoing shipments;
- performing day-to-day administrative tasks, entering data, and maintaining accurate records as required.

Compensation:

- $20/hr
- benefits package offered (waiting period applies)

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- Call centre, sales, or other industry specific experience (restaurant, grocery, etc.) is preferred
- Knowledge of the produce industry is a plus

Additional information
- Work week consists of 40+ hours per week. Weekend work will be required.
- Work must be completed on-site. Remote work is not an option for this position.
- On-the-job training is provided.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
