**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and mentor Traffic Control Persons (TCPs) to ensure safety and effectiveness.
- Assign duties, coordinate schedules, and monitor team performance.

**Traffic Management Planning**:

- Develop and implement traffic management plans (TMPs) in collaboration with project managers and local authorities.
- Adjust traffic control strategies as needed based on project changes or unforeseen circumstances.

**Site Safety and Compliance**:

- Ensure all traffic control operations meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections of traffic control setups.
- Address and resolve safety concerns or traffic-related issues promptly.

**Equipment Management**:

- Oversee the setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices, including signs, barricades, and cones.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly deployed at job sites.

**Communication and Coordination**:

- Act as the primary point of contact between TCPs, contractors, clients, and local authorities.
- Use radios and other communication tools to manage on-site traffic control operations.
- Provide clear and timely updates to project stakeholders.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of traffic control operations, incidents, and equipment usage.
- Prepare and submit daily reports, including any deviations from the approved TMP.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience in traffic control, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Certification as a Traffic Control Person (TCP).
- Strong knowledge of traffic management principles, safety standards, and local traffic laws.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using radios and other communication tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

**Working Conditions**:

- Primarily outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Requires standing for extended periods and physical activity, including lifting and setting up traffic control equipment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays, as needed.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
