**Requirement**:

- **BCCSA approved Traffic Control Person Certification**:

- **Lane Closure Technician: 2 years LCT experience**:

- **Traffic Control Person/ Flagging: 1 year TCP experience**:

- Ability to effectively communicate with drivers and operators
- Motivated to keep traffic smooth and pedestrians safe
- Willing to learn and grow with the company
- Personal transportation to commute to site

**Responsibilities**:

- Directing drivers, pedestrians, and workers to safe routes around road construction sites
- Assist in accessing and exiting work sites and reporting to questions
- Assist with set up and maintenance of project signage and barricades including daily barricade reports
- Protect workers by keeping work space free of traffic and warning them of approaching hazards
- Setting up and providing traffic control specifications
- Reviewing traffic management plans
- Training other site workers about traffic and equipment safety
- Performing other related duties as required.

**Salary**:
**Lane Closure Technician: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour (Including 12% vacation pay, travel allowance and benefits) **_*Salary will be determine based on experience and during the in-person interview*_

**Traffic Control Person / Flagger: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour (Including 12% vacation pay, travel allowance and benefits) **_*Salary will be determine based on experience and during the in-person interview*_

**Salary**: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
