**Opportunity knocks**

The Technical Support Analyst is primarily responsible for daily end user support in the desktop arena by providing exceptional, effective customer service and technical support to Sinclair staff primarily located in Eastern Canada.

This is an incredible new opportunity to interact with and learn from all of the technology services and senior IT team members. You will work with system administrators having an opportunity to expand your role by working with systems like Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory and VMware. In this role, you will take complete ownership of issues from start to finish and be responsible for providing ongoing communications and updates via the various systems, telephone and in person.

**Your story**

You have worked for at least 2 years’ supporting an IT Help Desk in an office environment and either have a formal education or certification in some of the following:

- Diploma in Information Technology or Systems Administration and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert-Server (MCSE-Serv)
- Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Virtualization Administrator
- CompTIA Network+

As part of your work experience, you have been introduced to system and network administration, experienced data center physical operations (such as network cabling, power management and security system), demonstrated a knowledge of networking (ie TCP/IP), used network services and architecture (DHCP, LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN etc), used virtualilzation (Hyper-V, VMware), and worked with Active Directory and Exchange Account Administration.
