**Positions and Shifts**:
One Position on Day Shift: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

**Compensation**:
Depends on Experience.

**Responsibilities**:
The responsibilities for the rewarding position of Human Resources Generalist at Ben Machine Products will include the following:

- Handle all on-boarding activities, including distribution of policies, completion of security assessments under the _Controlled Goods Regulations_, and basic training activities.
- Act as the primary contact for all employees, including researching and resolving issues, dealing with employee vacation and leave requests, policy interpretation, and exit interviews.
- Assist in annual performance and compensation review processes.
- Coordinate all parent organization engagement surveys, DEI initiatives, and HR reporting.
- Report on HR activities, including metrics on turnover, absenteeism and vacancy.
- Participate in developing and drafting appropriate HR policies and provide recommendations related to people operations and retention.
- Manage the student employment program, including discussions with local colleges, job postings, interviews and contract offers.
- Maintain knowledge of best practices, legislation changes and new technologies in HR and employment law.
- Report directly to the CEO with dotted line responsibility to each divisional President and the CFO.
- Coordinate efforts with the CFO and the payroll and benefits team.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in human resources.
- CHRP designation preferred.
- _ Controlled Goods Regulations_ experience an asset.
- Previous aerospace experience preferred.
- Previous manufacturing enterprise experience preferred.
