**Job Title**:RTD mixing specialist/ Cellar Operator

**Type of employment**:Full Time

**Pay**:$20/ hr

Cool Beer Brewing Co, an award winning production brewery located in the Etobicoke has an immediate opening for a **RTD mixer**/ **Cellar Operator**. We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual with a passion for producing exceptional beer.

**Summary of Job Position**:
The primary function is to prepare ready to drink products for packaging. You will need to follow recipes, weigh out and mix dry ingredients, pump and dose out liquid extracts and flavourings, maintain records and batch sheets, keep work area and supplies organized and clean.

Operator will also be trained for cellar operations including tank cleaning, dry-hopping, yeast collection, and carbonation.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Weighing and dosing purees, flavourings and ingredients to produce beverages.
- Working with Centrifugal pumps, drum pumps, flow meters and weighscales.
- Fermentor, Bright tank and yeast brink cleaning and sanitization,
- Yeast harvesting/sampling for lab work
- Perform/maintain cellar inventories
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace
- Upholding quality standards per SOP’s
- Maintain accurate written and electronic records

**Job Qualifications**:

- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and quality
- Safely handle brewery chemicals
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills are a must
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
- Knowledge of HAACP and Food Safety as plus.

**Physical Requirements**: _Required to perform this job successfully._
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb stairs, and stand for long periods.
- Safely lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
- Maneuver up to 165 pounds, in tight spaces
- Use ladders and work from heights
- Able to work in wet, cold, hot and noisy conditions
