As the landscape shifts toward AI-driven recommendations through platforms like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, Advoc is expanding into a new frontier of marketing: AI Search Optimization. Position: AI Search Optimization Specialist Start Date: Immediate Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 per year (Commensurate w/ experience) Employment: Full-Time (Hybrid) Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Ability to commute: #2000 – 2 Sheppard Ave E, North York, ON M5N 5Y7 This is a full-time hybrid role as an AI Search Optimization Specialist at Advoc Digital Inc. based in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will help build and execute Advoc’s emerging AI Search Optimization practice, an exciting new field focused on improving brand visibility across AI assistants and LLM platforms. You will be responsible for: Researching how AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) surface and recommend brands Running structured prompt tests to identify visibility gaps for client brands Creating clear, structured, AI-readable content formats and “AI visibility pages” Supporting the development of Advoc’s methodology for AI Search Optimization (training provided) Conducting competitive AI search audits and summarizing insights Monitoring changes in AI search behaviour and uncovering new opportunities Collaborating with our Paid Media and Creative teams to integrate AI-driven insights into campaigns This role blends structured content strategy, technical understanding, and experimentation within a rapidly evolving marketing category. Qualifications Experience in Technical SEO, content strategy, digital marketing, information architecture, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Curiosity about AI tools, LLM behaviour, and how machine-generated recommendations work Ability to interpret and structure information clearly and concisely Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects Experience with basic front-end development (HTML/CSS) or CMS editing is a strong asset Familiarity with structured data, semantic search, or prompt testing is an asset (not required) Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field preferred (not required) Why Join Advoc Digital We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
