CIVIL | STRUCTURAL | MECHANICAL | ELECTRICAL | INDUSTRIAL

**Location**:Winnipeg Capital Region, St. Andrews Airport district

As a **Precast Concrete (BIM) Modeler & Drafter,** your will be responsible for preparing and modifying precast concrete models that are used in in the design, manufacture, and erection of precast concrete structures.

**Requirements**:

- Graduated from a two or three-year Architectural Engineering Technology program from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Eligible for registration with The Certified Technicians & Technologists Association of Manitoba (CTTAM) or The Architectural and Building Technologists Association of Manitoba (ABTAM).
- Must possess a valid driver’s license for a passenger vehicle.
- Proficiency with modelling, detailing, and design software such as AutoCAD.
- Familiar with Virtual Design and Construction (3D BIM) software such as Tekla Structures or Revit is considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of concrete and/or the construction field is considered an asset.
- An aptitude for and general understanding of building construction methods and procedures, and building systems.
- Hands-on experience or general construction experience is an asset.

**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure designs comply with design professionals’ drawings, client specifications and company quality standards.
- Maintain proper documentation on every projects.
- Maintain a database of processes and technical specifications.
- Ensure multiple projects are completed on time while navigating conflicting deadlines.
- Perform preliminary design work using load tables and software according to experience and abilities.
- Assist in project coordination.
- Availability for short-haul travel to project sites in various weather.
