We are looking for an experienced individual to work in our precast division primarily involved in pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. While all of the below responsibilities can be done by this role, the primary responsibility will be that of finishing concrete surfaces.

**Wage**: $27.00/hour

**Responsibilities**:

- Pour and place concrete mixtures into molds and forms
- Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, or float.
- Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straight edge
- Produce rough concrete surfaces using broom
- Vibrate concrete mixtures and ensure an even distribution and compact pours
- Strips and cleans forms
- Transportation of materials and product
- General housekeeping and yard work
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 2-5 years experience finishing concrete
- CSTS Certification (preferred)
- WHIMIS training (preferred)
- Experience finishing concrete in a precast environment (preferred)

**Work Environment**:
**Physical Demands**:
The position is physical in nature and requires bending, crawling, crouching, and standing for long periods of time. Materials are heavy and cumbersome. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
**Hours of Work**:
Typical workweek is Monday through Friday 40 hours/week; however, some overtime and weekends may be required.
Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as part of the hiring process.
