**Position Overview**:
We are looking for an organized and conscientious Production Coordinator to join our RM Precast division. This position will primarily be responsible for coordinating the production of precast products such as lego blocks, jersey barriers, and residential/commercial steps.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate improvements in production timelines and efficiencies while scheduling on-going production.
- Review and approve concrete production drawings.
- Obtain purchase order information and clarify scope of work with customer.
- Draft blueprint dimensions using information contained in purchase orders.
- Provide design plans to the production team and schedule work completion.
- Perform basic estimating on all product lines including residential and commercial offerings.
- Provide clarification to production team on design specifications.
- Organize a schedule for to maximize efficiencies and avoid delays.
- Coordinate production timelines with customers.
- Provide reporting and status updates to sales and management.
- Participate in all safety initiatives and programs, fostering a safe and productive workplace culture.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- College or university diploma or degree in a related field such as construction management, civil engineering or related field.
- Valid driver’s license and clean drivers abstract.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience working within a construction or production facility environment is an asset.
- Familiarity with drafting blueprints is preferred.

**Hours of Work**:
This position requires a working schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
**Work Environment**:
This position works 90% of the time in an office setting and 10% on client sites or in a plant environment. Travel within the Edmonton area is required.
