**Position Summary**

The Collections Coordinator is responsible for collecting unpaid invoices for Liftow’s operational Divisions.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Review open accounts for collection efforts
- Make outbound collection calls
- Prepare and send collection letters
- Communicate with external customers to investigate complaints, verify accuracy of charges, and/or to correct errors in accounts
- Notify debtors of overdue payments and accounts by telephone, mail, and registered mail
- Research, track, investigate and negotiate chargeback (deductions) from customer payments
- Send weekly/monthly customer statements and reviews statements with customers when required.
- Responsible for monitoring, maintaining and documenting status on all past due accounts.
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary requested by Manager

**Education & Work Experience**

High school completion or equivalent and/or 1-2 year’s experience in a Collections position.

**Competencies and Skills**
- Planning and organizing skills
- Proficient with MS Excel
- Effective negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer service oriented and a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $45,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Parts: 2 years (preferred)
- Customer service: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mississauga, ON
