Christie Lites Sales has an employment opportunity available in our Mississauga location for a Collection/Billing Coordinator. This is a permanent position.

The Collection/Billing Coordinator will ensure timely payment of receivables by reconciling customer accounts to resolve issues that are preventing payment and ensure invoicing is completed. You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with sales representatives and customers in order to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The Collection/Billing Coordinator must follow procedures to maximize collection goals and be prepared to discuss and escalate as per established guidelines.

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to established, written processes to complete daily objectives
- Processing electronic (wire/ACH), cheque, and credit card payments on a daily basis
- Complete routine collection calls to determine the payment status of accounts
- Functions as the primary customer contact for all collection related activities
- Establish a sound business relationship with customers
- Set follow-up calls as required
- Prioritize & manage workload to meet objectives with mínimal supervision
- Follow the daily billing process to ensure invoicing is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure invoices are sent to clients daily
- Provide prompt and exceptional customer service
- Escalate issues to appropriate persons (Rep and/or Management)
- Identify & document customer disputes in the customer database
- Maintain collection notes for all customers
- Identify root causes of delinquency
- Prepare statements and other supporting documentation
- Manage AR portfolio including customer refunds

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma in business or accounting or equivalent work experience
- Experience in collections
- A solutions-oriented individual with strong initiative
- Team player with good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly customer service oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with Oracle Netsuite preferred
