**Role Summary**

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage business management practices and processes, within the Technology Strategy and Transformation team in Digital and Client Technology Solutions (DCTS). The successful incumbent will develop strong working relationships within DCTS and partner closely with internal Finance.

This role will work to understand business management objectives and identify requirements for successful planning and reporting. The role requires self-direction, initiative, strong analytical and organization skills, excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail as well as advanced proficiency with Excel and information management approaches.

**What you will do**:

- Ensure the portfolio is managed as a business by leading and executing processes for planning, budgeting, financial management and reporting.
- Lead the development of supply and demand analytics, reporting, tools and processes, including time-tracking systems, demand planning tools and resource and portfolio management tools.
- Provide independent and objective governance and support for expense management and resource management to achieve targets.
- Develop and leverage models to analyze variance and trend based data to identify and communicate expense and project and portfolio performance and insight.
- Intensify our customer focus through effective analytics and insight into services, providing operational metrics and reporting to show the value and cost of services provided. Improve processes, data and delivery.
- Ensure effective cost recovery from clients, reviewing and revising and/or transforming the recovery model to provide better visibility and management of costs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to effectively align portfolio reporting requirements; Improve the processes, data and delivery of portfolio reporting
- Manage executive reporting, working with leaders to develop relevant metrics and highlight accomplishments

**What you need to succeed**:

- Strong financial acumen with good knowledge of business management practices and financial management skills and techniques.
- Experience with resource management tools such as Plan View is preferred.
- Proven analytical and advanced problem-solving skills to quickly get to root cause of any issue.
- Demonstrated ability to summarize and distill volumes of data into meaningful management reports. Advanced proficiency level and experience with MS Excel is required. Experience with Tableau is preferred.
- Motivated individual with initiative, capable of owning and driving assignments
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build rapport with colleagues to achieve outcomes through collaboration and partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels with clarity and precision (verbal and written) and the ability to interpret requests which are not always clearly defined.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize wide range of tasks.
- Five+ years’ experience in an IT environment.

**Education**:

- University or other post-secondary education in a relevant field (Business/Commerce or Computer Science)

**Assets**:

- Ability to leverage technology to streamline processes, reporting and analytical support.
