**Responsibilities**
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily dispatch operations for company drivers and owner-operators.
- Manage and update load information in the **Transportation Management System (TMS)** with full accuracy.
- Track shipments proactively, ensuring **on-time pickups and deliveries** while maintaining communication with customers and drivers.
- Optimize equipment utilization and coordinate with other terminals to balance truck availability.
- Monitor driver hours of service (HOS) and compliance with **FMCSA/NSC regulations**.
- Handle appointment scheduling, route planning, and communication with shippers and receivers.
- Manage trip-related documents (BOLs, PODs, customs paperwork) and ensure timely submission to accounting.
- Resolve operational issues such as delays, mechanical breakdowns, and weather impacts through effective communication and decision-making.
- Coordinate with the **Operations, Safety, and Maintenance teams** to maintain fleet productivity and compliance.
- Provide professional customer service and maintain constant communication with internal departments.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **5 years of experience in dispatching** within the **trucking or logistics industry** (Flatbed, Dry Van, or Reefer experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of **Canadian and U.S. geography**, including highway routes, border crossings, and major freight corridors.
- Proficiency with **Transportation Management Systems (TMS)** - experience with **TransPlus Fleet Manager or similar software** is an asset.
- Knowledge of **ELD systems** (e.g., Samsara, Motive, Geotab) and load-tracking platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in **English and French**.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office**.
- Availability for flexible working hours, including weekends or evenings when required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
