**Legal Assistant / Paralegal - Family Litigation**

Rogers Law is a growing boutique family and estate litigation firm, and we are seeking an experienced and highly organized **Legal Assistant/Paralegal** to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a collaborative, client-focused, and modern practice.

**About the Role**

This is a hybrid-remote position where you will be working 2 days a week in office and 3 days from home. We are looking for someone who can take initiative and step confidently into a busy litigation environment. You will work closely with counsel to support a diverse caseload and ensure files move forward efficiently and thoughtfully. **Experience in family law is mandatory for this role due to the fast-paced nature of the files we take on.**

**You must also possess a Bachelors Degree for this role.**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drafting, preparing, and filing Supreme and Provincial Court materials
- Managing litigation deadlines and maintaining proactive calendaring
- Scheduling court dates, mediations, and client meetings
- Preparing correspondence, briefs, and hearing materials
- Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
- Trust and general accounting support, including entries in Clio
- General office administration and file management

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in **family law litigation** (BC)
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong understanding of the Supreme Court Family Rules and filing requirements
- Proficiency with Clio and general legal accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills with a sense of urgency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Professional, empathetic, and client-service oriented

Pay: $40,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
