Child Care Assistant Supervisor

**Job description**
**We are looking for an experienced, qualified Out of School Care Child Care Assistant Supervisor to join our growing team in SE Calgary**
**Responsibilities Include**:
- Ensure and facilitate the smooth functioning of all aspects of the centre in order to best serve children and families.
- Ensure the physical environment is monitored and maintained to meet licensing regulations.
- Provide supervision, coaching, leadership and support to centre staff.
- Assist with coordination of staff scheduling within approved educator-child ratios.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and regular communication with parents.
- Oversee and assist in the programming and observations of each group in compliance with our curriculum and company philosophies.
- Ensure all new parents and children are orientated into the centre upon enrollment.
- Manage administrative tasks and general communications as needed.
- Understand and enforce all province regulations within the building.
- Implement and ensure completion of training for all staff members.
- All other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- BEd with a focus on Early Childhood or Early Childhood Educator Level 3 Certification;
- Minimum 3 year leadership experience in childcare;
- CPR/First Aid Certificate;
- Current Criminal History Check, including Vulnerable Sector Search;
- Intermediate skills of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel);
- Strong leadership skills and proven ability to lead a team.
- Safe Food Handling would be an asset; and
- Strong communication and organization skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour (plus Government Wage Top Up)
