Child Care Director

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the child care program, including staff management, curriculum development, and compliance with licensing regulations.
- Create and implement engaging educational programs that promote the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development of children.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's growth and address any concerns or needs.
- Provide guidance and support to staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for children and staff.
- Monitor classroom activities to ensure high-quality care and education is provided consistently.
- Maintain accurate records related to enrollment, attendance, and child assessments.
- Manage daily operations of the daycare, including staff scheduling, enrollment, and parent communication
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and internal policies
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to educators and staff
- Monitor budgets, administrative records, and reporting requirements
**Requirements**:
- Alberta Child Care Staff Certification (Level 3)
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, or a diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or management experience in early learning and child care
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood settings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing program operations.
