The Role

As our centre director, you will be at the heart of our program, leading with vision, compassion, and expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring that our program continues to provide high-quality care and education, while also cultivating a collaborative and supportive environment for staff, children, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of a Reggio-inspired, emergent curriculum.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, fostering open communication and trust.
- Recruit, mentor, and support a team of passionate educators, encouraging professional growth and collaboration.
- Oversee the daily operations of the daycare, ensuring adherence to licensing regulations and maintaining a safe, welcoming space for children.
- Act as a visionary leader, driving program excellence and community engagement.

Qualifications:

- A Level 3 ECE certificate and degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and emergent curriculum principles.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- A passion for fostering a creative, child-centered approach to learning.

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
